We have all heard the story about the CFO that states in a management meeting, “What if we train these people and then they leave us?” To which the CEO responds, “What if we don’t train them and they stay?” Training is an investment in our people. The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) reported that on average it costs a company six to nine months of an employee’s salary to replace them. So, really, training is not an option if we want to keep our employees growing and engaged.

We offer a variety of Leadership Training Courses, or we can make one that will specifically fit your company. Here are a few options to start with:

Four-hour leadership training: This course covers the basics of leadership. This is a must for a newly promoted person who has never been in leadership before. Not only will they learn the basics, but they will also recieve resources of where they can continue to learn on their own for a more in depth understanding of leadership.

All day leadership training: This course covers the basics of leadership then adds more role plays and coaching.

Six-month leadership training: In this course, we will go into depth on each of the basics of leadership to learn and understand how they apply to our lives and careers. The six-month training will involve pre-training questionnaires for both the trainees and those who report to them. It will also have a monthly review with the managers as to what they have learned and how it will apply to their work and personal life. Each monthly training course will be two- and one-half hours in length. The six-month training will cover six of the following topics based on the needs of the participants:

  1. What is leadership?
  2. Bringing the best in your employees
  3. Coaching and developing your team
  4. Quickest way to gain Leadership
  5. Creating trust
  6. Managing conflict
  7. Creating positive change
  8. Leading the generations
  9. Death by meeting (How to have an effective meeting)
  10. Effective planning
  11. Increasing productivity
  12. Time management
  13. Self-awareness and emotional intelligence
  14. Effective communication

12-month leadership training: This training is just like the six- month except we learn at least 12 out of the 14 leadership courses listed above based on the needs of the participants. Again, the courses will be two- and one-half hours in length and will be held every month for 12 months.

I am also a keynote and breakout speaker, an emcee, and a coach, both executive and mid-level.
